Artists are invited to submit digital
images of two recent watercolours for pre-selection by the AWI committee. These digital images must be a true and
accurate representation of your painting(s). The
digital images must be of original work(s) completed during the last 12 months
and should reflect the technique, art and spirit of watercolour. Pre-selected works will be subject to final
selection for exhibition by the AWI Committee based solely on the
quality of the submitted original, framed watercolour paintings. Artists whose works have been pre-selected
will be contacted by phone on Friday, 28th September 2011.
COPYRIGHT
In order to participate, you must be the
owner of the copyright of the files submitted. It is important to note that
copyright remains with you, the participant, but the AWI Committee may need to
copy and display the images when pre-selecting work. Full credit will always be
given to you. Remaining the full owner of the copyright, you will be free to
distribute and publish your images at any time.
The AWI committee reserves the right to make the final decision on the
hanging of any works pre-selected.
1.
The
maximum framed size of work
submitted should be 109 cm x 83.6
cm (43 inches x 33 inches) or the
overall lineal equivalent. Work
photographed for pre-selection need not be framed.

(not
refundable for non-selected work.)
